Description
AI generated. Tempo Terrace shapes a production tempo map across eight sections. Set each section length, start tempo, ending tempo and hold, linear or exponential movement.
An analytic beat to time model calculates the section boundaries and total duration. Scale the whole map to fit a target duration, audition a generated click, and inspect the resulting tempo curve. Three original map presets give useful starting points.
Export conductor MIDI with sampled tempo events, a click WAV, a section CSV and editable map JSON. The MIDI approximation error is measured against the analytic map. It is a standalone browser planning utility, not a DAW plugin or synchronized transport.

Technologies
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Audio API
Setup requirements
Open index.html or serve the folder with any static HTTP server. Use a deliberate play action to enable audio.
Dependencies and ongoing costs
No third party libraries, paid APIs or required services. A current Web Audio capable browser is required. Optional static hosting can be free.
Known limitations
Standalone browser tempo planning tool. Eight sections of 1 to 32 quarter beats each. BPM is limited to 30 through 240. A hold section uses its start tempo throughout. Ramp tempo events in MIDI are sampled steps and differ slightly from the analytic curve. Fit scales every tempo and fails if the requested duration requires values outside the supported BPM range. Live preview uses a rendered click buffer rather than external clock synchronization. Audio audition and WAV rendering support maps up to 180 seconds; longer maps retain analytic and MIDI functions.
