Description
Milepost is a mileage log for self-employed people and employees who claim business travel. Log a trip with the date, route, purpose and either the distance or two odometer readings, and mark return trips to double the distance. Regular trips can be repeated in one tap.
It works out the claim for you. The UK car rate is built in, 45p a mile for the first 10,000 miles and 25p after that, applied in date order through the tax year, even when a single trip crosses the threshold. A flat rate, kilometres, a calendar year and other currencies are also supported.
The Claim screen shows the year's claim, business and personal distance, distance by month and by purpose. The Trips list filters by month, tax year or all time and exports to CSV for your accountant.

Setup requirements
Upload the files to any static web host. To try it locally, run python3 -m http.server and open http://localhost:8000. Run the tests with npm test (Node 20 or newer).
